Gale Force Sailing Provides Tune Up For Melges 24 NE Championship

Gale Force Sailing will provide starting, mark rounding, and speed practice for Melges 24 competitors at the 2007 Melges 24 Northeast District Championships.

We’ll provide starting practice with an organized starting session from 2:30-3:30 on Friday October 19. Our innovative starting drills are guaranteed to help teams find the groove before the big event.

There are few places on the race course where more can be gained or lost than at mark roundings. Through fun and challenging drills, we’ll make sure teams boathandling skills are up to the task of taking on the best the District can offer.

Finally, we’ll do some speed testing to confirm whether the boats are on par with their competition by putting the boats side by side and noting differences between trimming and tuning.
